Recent Rica Hotel Bergen Review: "I stayed in the cheapest range of rooms in the hotel, but was happy with the 3 star quality. The room was very small, but clean and the had good pillows. Service is the hotel is very good. For example, I arrived early, and the staff took extra care of me to get me a room as soon as possible. The room was cleaned properly daily and the bathroom had soap,  shampoo and shower gel. I would say that the hotel is very good for people who plan to spend their time sightseeing or otherwise out on the town. Then the small room doesn't matter. The price includes a buffet breakfast with a very large selection of bread, pastry, veggies, fruits, cold cuts, fish, and eggs cooked perhaps 3-5 different ways. You can get an energy boost by choosing out of several different flavors of fruit shots (Ginger-mango-lemon and other great combinations). The only thing that bothered me was the slow elevator, which can be annoying if you are in a hurry to go somewhere."
